Privacy

This website collects nothing about you. There are no accounts, no forms, no newsletter, no comments, no advertising and no analytics of any kind. We do not know who visits, how many of you there are, or what you looked at.

The Gogolis is made for very young children, so we have built the site to the strictest reading of that: the safest data to hold is none.

Cookies

There are none, which is why you were not asked to accept any.

One thing is stored locally in your own browser: whether you chose the light or dark theme. It never leaves your device, is not sent to us, and is not used to identify you. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Videos

The songs on this site are hosted on YouTube. We deliberately do not load the YouTube player when the page opens. Instead you see a still image and a play button, and the player is only loaded if you press it.

Until you press play, the only thing this page requests from Google is the still image itself, from i.ytimg.com. Once you do press play, the video is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com and YouTube's own privacy policy applies to that playback, as it would on YouTube itself.

If you would rather not load anything from Google at all, watch the songs directly on our YouTube channel instead.

Fonts and third parties

This site uses the fonts already installed on your device. It loads no external stylesheets, no external fonts, no tag managers and no third-party scripts.

Server logs

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages, which processes standard technical request data (such as IP address) to deliver the page and protect against abuse. We do not receive, store or analyse per-visitor logs, and we do not build profiles from them.

Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age. Because we collect nothing, there is nothing to request, correct or delete. If you believe that is somehow not the case, please write to us and we will look into it immediately.

How The Gogolis is made

The characters, music and animation are AI-generated. The lyrics are written by a person, and the characters and stories are human creative decisions. We mention it here because parents reasonably want to know.

Changes

If this ever changes — for example if we add a shop or a newsletter, which would live on a separate site aimed at adults — we will update this page before it happens, not after.
