Lyrics
The words as written. The Gogolis’ lyrics are co-written by a person and AI, and a human chooses the final words.
Chorus
Row, row, row your boat,
Gently down the stream,
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life is but a dream.
Verse 1
Toti sees a dragonfly,
Zipping past the flowers bright —
"Look!" says Toti. "Taking flight!"
Verse 2
Gambo sings a happy song,
Loudly, high and low,
All the ducks come swimming up to listen as we go!
Chorus
Row, row, row your boat,
Gently down the stream,
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life is but a dream.
Verse 3
Poff can't hold a paddle — his arms are springy things,
So he bounces once, boing-boing,
And SPLASH! Away we swing!
Verse 4
A long green snout comes gliding through the reeds,
Everybody grabs the boat and gives a great big SHOUT —
Nibs just blinks. "It's a floaty." And he pushes it about.
Chorus
Row, row, row your boat,
Gently down the stream,
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life is but a dream.
Outro
Mimi floats above us, pink against the sky,
Wave goodbye to Lumis Stream —
We'll row again, goodbye!

The round everybody knows, with the six in a boat between choruses. Toti points out a dragonfly, Gambo sings so loudly that the ducks swim over to listen, and Poff, whose arms are too springy to hold a paddle, bounces instead and splashes everyone.
Then a long green snout comes gliding through the reeds, everybody shouts, and Nibs just blinks: “It’s a floaty.” It is the same joke as the alligator in Amazing A. Mimi floats above the boat at the end, pink against the sky, as everyone waves goodbye to the stream.
The song is traditional. The melody and the “row, row, row your boat” chorus are public domain and far older than this band; the verses above, and every Gogoli in them, are ours.
