Lyrics
The words as written. The Gogolis’ lyrics are co-written by a person and AI, and a human chooses the final words.
Verse 1
Poff and Gambo run, run, run,
Pooltime fun in the summer sun!
One, two, three — jump in quick,
SPLASH goes Gambo, Poff goes SPLISH!
Pre-Chorus
Kick your feet,
Wave your hands,
Make little ripples where you stand!
Chorus
Splash, splash, splash in the pool today,
Kick, kick, kick all the water away!
Float up high, then down we go,
Pooltime with the Gogolis — hello!
Splash to the left,
Splash to the right,
Everybody swimming in the sunshine bright!
Verse 2
Nibs says, "Hmm, I'll stay right here,"
Sunglasses on and a magazine near.
Lying back in the warm sunshine,
Sipping a fruity drink — "Ahhh, just fine!"
Then a giant splash comes flying by...
SPLASH!
Nibs looks up with one wet eye.
Chorus
Splash, splash, splash in the pool today,
Kick, kick, kick all the water away!
Float up high, then down we go,
Pooltime with the Gogolis — hello!
Splash to the left,
Splash to the right,
Everybody swimming in the sunshine bright!
Verse 3
Mimi floats on a big pink ring,
Round and round like a spinning thing!
Lilly says, "Catch!" and throws a ball,
Toti jumps — but misses it all!
Boing goes Poff from the poolside floor,
Poff jumps so high...
Then SPLASHES MORE!
Bridge
Bubble, bubble, bubble, pop!
Swim a little — then we stop.
Shake, shake, shake the water away,
Then jump right back in...
HOORAY!
Chorus
Splash, splash, splash in the pool today,
Kick, kick, kick all the water away!
Float up high, then down we go,
Pooltime with the Gogolis — hello!
Splash to the left,
Splash to the right,
Everybody swimming in the sunshine bright!
Outro
Drip, drip, drip from head to toe,
Pooltime's done — it's time to go.
One last jump...
ONE, TWO, THREE!
SPLASH!
Pooltime with the Gogolis!

The longest song in the catalogue, and the only one with a pre-chorus. It is built for a hot afternoon: kick, wave, splash left, splash right — all of it doable sitting down, which matters for a song this long.
Nibs gets the joke. Sunglasses on, magazine up, staying firmly out of the water — until one enormous splash arrives and Nibs looks up with one wet eye. It is the same shape as the carrot in Eat the Rainbow, played for laughs rather than for encouragement: the hold-out is never the butt of it.
