Lyrics
The words as written. The Gogolis’ lyrics are co-written by a person and AI, and a human chooses the final words.
A little bus waiting in the playroom. Six seats, six Gogolis, doors already open.
Verse 1
The wheels on the bus go round and round,
Round and round, round and round!
The wheels on the bus go round and round —
All through the town!
Verse 2
Gambo on the bus goes beep, beep, beep,
Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep!
Gambo on the bus goes beep, beep, beep —
All through the town!
"I've got this! Here I go!"
Gambo found the horn, and now we know!
Chorus
Round and round! Up and down!
Six little Gogolis rolling through the town!
Beep, boing, glow — and a "Say cheese!" too,
The wheels on the bus go round with you!
Verse 3
Poff on the bus goes boing, boing, boing,
Boing, boing, boing, boing, boing, boing!
Poff on the bus goes boing, boing, boing —
All through the town!
Poff has springs where the feet should be,
So Poff bounces higher than the seat!
Verse 4
The doors on the bus go open and shut,
Open and shut, open and shut!
The doors on the bus go open and shut —
All through the town!
Lilly says, "Hey! Everybody hop in!"
Shuffle up, shuffle down, let the ride begin!
Chorus
Round and round! Up and down!
Six little Gogolis rolling through the town!
Beep, boing, glow — and a "Say cheese!" too,
The wheels on the bus go round with you!
Verse 5
Toti on the bus says, "Look! Look! Look!"
"Look! Look! Look! Look! Look! Look!"
Toti on the bus says, "Look! Look! Look!" —
All through the town!
Toti sees a duck and a big red door —
"Everybody say cheese!" Then Toti sees more!
Verse 6
Mimi on the bus goes glow, glow, glow,
Glow, glow, glow, glow, glow, glow!
Mimi on the bus goes glow, glow, glow —
All through the town!
Mimi never sits — Mimi floats instead,
A soft little light above everyone's head!
Bridge
Nibs says, "Hmm. I don't think I'll sing."
Arms folded up. Not doing a thing.
But the wheels go round, and the horn goes...
"...beep," says Nibs. Just one little beep.
Then — BEEP! BEEP! BEEEEP!
Chorus
Round and round! Up and down!
Six little Gogolis rolling through the town!
Beep, boing, glow — and a "Say cheese!" too,
The wheels on the bus go round with you!
Outro
The wheels on the bus go slow... slow... slow,
Here is our stop — off we go!
Six little Gogolis, hop down one by one —
All through the town!
Nibs beeps the horn one more time. Hold on it.

The traditional nursery rhyme, with a verse handed to each of the six. Gambo finds the horn, Poff bounces higher than the seat, Lilly gets everybody aboard, Toti narrates the window, and Mimi floats instead of sitting — each verse keeping the tune every child already knows.
Nibs gets the bridge, and it is the only part that breaks the pattern. “Hmm. I don’t think I’ll sing,” arms folded, doing nothing — until one small beep turns into three enormous ones. It is the same shape as the carrot in Eat the Rainbow: real reluctance, one small try, nobody made to feel bad.
The song is traditional. The melody and the “round and round” refrain are public domain and centuries older than this band; the verses above, and every Gogoli in them, are ours.
