Intro
Out to the sea, so blue and bright!
Sparkly waves in the morning light!
Look down low, what do we see?
A world of friends beneath the sea!
Come on! Swim with me!
Chorus
Down in the sea, come swim with me!
Move like the animals, one, two, three!
Copy me, copy me, follow along,
Clap your hands and sing this song!
Jump, jump, jump, like a dolphin!
Side, side, side, like a crab!
Slow, slow, slow, like a turtle!
Sea friends are waiting, come on, let's go!
Dolphin
Poff sees a dolphin go WHOOSH up high!
Springing up to touch the sky!
Jump like a DOLPHIN!
Jump, jump, jump!
Spin like a DOLPHIN!
Twirl, twirl, twirl!
Splash to the left!
Splash to the right!
Hello, dolphin,
What a sight!
Eee-eee!
Crab
Lilly finds a crab, look down below!
It sits in her hands, then off they go!
Walk like a CRAB!
Side, side, side!
Wave your little claws
From side to side!
Step to the left!
Step to the right!
Crabby, crabby,
What a funny sight!
Hello, crab!
Click, click, click!
Turtle
Nibs meets a turtle taking its time,
Swimming slowly, feeling fine.
Paddle like a TURTLE!
Slow, slow, slow!
Move your flippers
Nice and low!
Slow to the left,
Slow to the right,
Take a little breath,
And float just right!
Hello, turtle!
Slow and steady!
Everybody swim!
Swim, swim, swim!
Jellyfish
Mimi floats down where a jellyfish glides,
Two soft jellies, side by side!
Dance like a JELLYFISH!
Up and down!
Float like a JELLYFISH!
Round and round!
Wiggle your arms,
Wave them free,
Drift like a jellyfish
Through the sea!
Hello, jellyfish!
Wiggle, wiggle, glow!
Fish
Toti's ears go up, flash, flash, flash!
A school of little fish goes DASH, DASH, DASH!
Dart like a FISH!
Quick, quick, quick!
Swim through the bubbles,
Zip, zip, zip!
Left!
Right!
Up!
Down!
Make a little fishy
Bubbly sound!
Hello, little fish!
Bubble, bubble, bubble!
Whale
Gambo sings out loud, but listen to THIS!
Take a deep breath, here comes the whale!
Sing like a WHALE!
Low and long,
Ooooooh!
Sing it again,
Come sing along!
Ooooooh!
Wave your tail
And splash the sea!
Hello, whale!
Sing with me!
WHOOOOO!
Final Chorus
Down in the sea, come swim with me!
Move like the animals, one, two, three!
Copy me, copy me, everybody now,
Show me your best sea animal move!
Jump, jump, jump, DOLPHIN!
Side, side, side, CRAB!
Slow, slow, slow, TURTLE!
Up and down, JELLYFISH!
Quick, quick, quick, FISH!
Low and long, WHALE!
Everybody swim together,
SPLASH! SPLASH! SPLASH!
Down in the sea, we laugh and play!
Swimming with our friends all day!
Outro
Dolphin jumps, splash, splash, splash!
Crab walks sideways, click, click, click!
Turtle paddles, slow, slow, slow!
Jellyfish wiggles, glow, glow, glow!
Little fish go bubble, bubble, bubble!
Whale sings one more ooooooh!
Dolphin, crab and turtle too,
Jellyfish, fish and whale,
We swam with you!
The ocean waves say,
Bye-bye, sea!
Wave goodbye,
One, two, three!
Bye-bye, sea!

A copy-me song under the sea, one animal and one move to a verse. Poff jumps with a dolphin, Lilly walks sideways like a crab, Nibs paddles slowly with a turtle, Mimi drifts with two jellyfish, Toti darts with a school of little fish, and Gambo, who sings loud, meets the one animal louder still: a whale, singing low and long.
The final chorus runs all six moves in a row, so it is a whole-body song and one of the longest in the catalogue — room enough for a child to try every one.
